Learn cooking in 10 weeks; Earn ServSafe Allergens and ServSafe Food Handlers certifications
Westerly Education Center is partnering with Johnson & Wales University to offer a free workforce training program for aspiring cooks. Learn from the best in the classroom at the start of the course and practice your skills in guided instruction in local restaurants as a paid student.
Coursework includes culinary instruction and theory, knife-cutting, cooking methods,product and equipment identification, nutrition, safety, ServSafe Allergens and ServSafe Food Handlers materials and certifications, and more. Course materials, knife kits, chef coats and test fees are included. Must be age 18+.
