Participants will explore historic examples of botanical illustration while learning techniques for composition, color selection and mixing, watercolor layering, and creating fine details. The course will also cover paper selection, transferring preliminary drawings, and project planning, providing participants with the tools and techniques to create their own completed botanical watercolor paintings.
