Rhode Island and Connecticut are experiencing blood shortages. Inclement weather played a major role in the drop of donations and the Rhode Island Blood Center is eager to reverse that trend.
Whether you are a champion blood donor or have never given a pint of blood before, drop in on Westerly Education Center on Tuesday, March 17, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and help save a life. Appointments are preferred and can be made at ribc.org/drives and using WEC’s sponsor code 3865.
Donors will need to bring an ID, such as a driver’s license. For eligibility information about donating blood, visit ribc.org. Westerly Education Center is located at 23 Friendship Street, Westerly.
