On November 11, we hosted a flag-raising and flagpole dedication ceremony and saluted veterans who have served our country. Through the generosity of three donors, we are now flying the American flag high above our building on Friendship Street.
With gratitude to our donors, Westerly Education Center acknowledges the Electric Boat Management Association, the Westerly Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary to the Amancio-Falcone-Gaccione Post No. 8955, and the Rhode Island General Assembly, especially Rep. Sam Azzinaro, for helping to make this improvement to our grounds.
