RISD Continuing Education (CE) is back at the Westerly Education Center, with three adult in-person art classes for spring 2026. Nourish your artistic self by enrolling in an art class for the pure fun of it. Of course you’ll be polishing your skills and learning new techniques too.
The in-person course at Westerly Education Center during the spring semester is called Botanical Watercolor.
The course is open to adults 18+ and there aren’t any prerequisites. The class is designed to have a beginner or multi-level focus. Elective credits are available to students working toward completing certificates of study in some disciplines.
Class sizes are small and welcoming, with experienced instructors leading you through the syllabus. Students are responsible for purchasing their own art supplies, equipment, software subscriptions, and/or books.
