A free, evidence-based suicide prevention training
Take this 90-minute training and make a difference in the life of someone you know. It will be offered one more time before the end of the year:
Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Westerly Education Center
23 Friendship Street
Like CPR, QPR is a simple process to use to help save the life of someone in crisis. Robert Harrison, MD, a former emergency department physician at Westerly Hospital, will lead the 90-minute course to help you learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide and apply the QPR process of Question, Persuade and Refer. This course is offered by Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds of Washington County and QPR Institute.
